Department of Transportation (DOT) Physicals

What does the DOT physical consist of?

- Health review

- Height and weight

- Blood pressure and pulse

- Hearing and vision

- Urinalysis (protein, blood, sugar, and water-electrolyte balance only)

- Systems exam (strength, sensory, heart, lungs, hernia, etc.)

- If needed, refer for additional testing and/or clearance

Following a completed evaluation, you will receive a determination for your commercial driver's medical certification (Form MCSA-5876) and instructions for the required self-certification.
